Selectmen’s Meeting
January 9, 2007

Selectmen present: Chairman Nelson Grindal, Charlie Wiggins and Tom O'Connor. Other participants: Adm. Assistant Barbara Grindle.
- Approved the minutes of the January 4, 2007, selectmen’s meeting.
- Selectmen discussed the procedure for updating the town’s flood plain ordinance. It was decided that a public hearing on the ordinance will be held at the Planning Board meeting in February. An article will be placed on the warrant at the annual town meeting for approval of the revised ordinance. The purpose of the ordinance is to bring Sedgwick’s ordinance in line with revised state requirements.
- It was also decided that the purposed contract for the transfer station will be voted on at the annual town meeting.
- Selectmen voted 3 to 0 to increase the hourly wage of the Administrative Assistant from $10 per hour to $10.50 per hour.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:30 PM.
