Selectman’s Meeting
June 5, 2008 Thursday 6:30PM
Selectmen present: Nelson Grindal, Bill Jagger and Tom O'Connor. Other participants: Selectman’s assistant, Barbara Grindle, Road Commissioner Paul Carter and Andy Gray.
- Selectmen opened two bids for the snow plowing contract. After comparing the two it was determined that Andy Gray had submitted the lower bid. His bid was $454,165 over the three year term of the contract. The second bid was $472,875 for the same period. Selectmen voted 3 to 0 to accept Mr. Gray’s bid.
- Approved the minutes of the June 3, 2008 selectman’s meeting.
- Approved the treasurer’s warrant (#49) in the amount of $9,074.60.
- Selectmen approved expending donated funds to move some large stones which will be used for the town office landscape project. There is no cost for the stones which were located by Road Commissioner Paul Carter, but need to be transported to the town office.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:25PM
