Selectmen’s Meeting
July, 10, 2008 Thursday 6:30PM
Selectmen present: Bill Jagger and Tom O'Connor. Other participants: Selectman’s assistant Barbara Grindle and Clerk/Treasurer Cindy Reilly.
- Approved the minutes of the July 8, 2008 selectmen’s meeting.
- Approved the Treasurer’s warrant (#2) in the amount of $113,156.41. $100,226.76 of that amount was for school expenses.
- Selectmen discussed the steps needed to secure a grant for the town landing. The preliminary design work has begun and the engineer hired to develop the plan visited the site on Monday.
- Selectmen have received the bid package for salt for the upcoming winter season. Plow contractor Andy Gray will be consulted as to the total tonnage and tentative delivery amounts that will be required. The completed package will be submitted to five companies by the Hancock County Planning Commission to obtain the best price for participating towns.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:10PM.
