SELECTMEN’S MEETING

March 1, 2012

 

Selectmen present:  Neil Davis, Colby Pert, Victor Smith

 

Also present:  CEO Duane Ford, Charlie Wiggins, Fred Marston, John Allen, Peter Atherton, Pam Johnson, Nelson Grindal, Assistant Barbara Grindle

 

1)         Minutes of the last meeting read and accepted.

 

2)         Signed the treasurer’s warrant for $11,374.89.  $5,068.25 was for auditing the town books.

 

3)         Citizens and members of the Appeals and Planning Boards were in to discuss the Patten/4 Winds project.  They questioned why there has  been no work stop order placed on the grounds.  They are very unhappy with the selectmen’s decision not to put a work stop order on this subject and the way the whole project  is being handled.

            They would like the selectmen to contact DEP to see if there has been a permit by rule given, and to contact MMA to see if our insurance will assist us in some of the legal readings and proceedings.

 

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:35 pm.
