TOWN OF SEDGWICK
SELECTMEN’S MEETING
February 17, 2020

Opened the meeting and declared a quorum present. Selectmen present: Ben Astbury, Michael Sheahan. Also present: CEO/LPI Duane Ford, Assistant Barbara Grindle.

There being no errors or omissions in the records of the last meeting, moved, seconded and voted 2-0 to approve them as written.

Reviewed and signed the treasurer’s warrant which was incomplete due to the treasurer’s absence.

CEO REPORT: Posted a stop work order on a property due to the contractor not being certified in soil and erosion control. Contractor to take course the first week of March. Discussion continuing on a possible shoreland violation.

DISCUSSION ITEMS: TRIO demonstration, Sheahan will set up a date when everyone can be available.
Town Meeting Notes: Will wait for Publicover to return.
Discussed having email messages going directly to the selectmen’s email for processing rather than being answered and relayed from the office. (selectmen@sedgwickmaine.org)

ADJOURN: There being no further business, moved, seconded and voted 2-0 to adjourn the meeting at 5:20 p.m.

Note: This meeting was advertised and held at 4 p.m. on Monday, February 17 so that the warrant and any business could be conducted for the week. Thursday’s meeting will not be held because of the absence of two of the selectmen.
