Opened the meeting and established a quorum present. Selectmen present: Ben Astbury, Colby Pert, Michael Sheahan. Also present: Hazel Sheahan, Bob Publicover, Treasurer/clerk Cindy Reilly, CEO Duane Ford, Assistant Barbara Grindle.

There being no errors or omissions in the minutes, moved, seconded and voted to dispense with reading the minutes of the last meeting and accept them as written.

OLD BUSINESS: Budget committee opening is filled. Assistant to notify committee and department heads to meet with selectmen to discuss a new format for the budget making process.
Renewed the junkyard permit for Eskay Auto Service.
Still waiting for one more person on the Landscape Committee.

NEW BUSINESS: DOT is going to replace the culvert over Thurston’s Brook in North Sedgwick. Are there any historical or archaelogical sites in the area that need to be preserved? We didn’t know of any.

CEO REPORT: Checking the gravel pit at Anderson’s to make sure site is small and not endangering the pond area. Seems ok right now; if over 5 acres DEP regulations are involved. Registered letters are being sent to the official agencies and Indian tribes to notify them of erosion issues being taken care of at the town dock. A road redesign needs to come before the Planning Board. There is still no permanent chairperson of the Board.

PUBLIC COMMENT: none.
