Sedgwick-Brooksville Town Landing Committee minutes for November 12, 2020

Meeting opened at 5:30pm.   Adjourned at 5:47pm.  Members present:  Michael Sheahan, Ben Astbury, Robert Publicover, John Gray, John Kimball

Actions Taken:

Motion to accept minutes of the October 8th meeting.  All in favor.

Motion to set $15,000 for the budget for next year.  All in favor.

Discussion:

Ben has been in contact with Maine Municipal about the break in.  Will know about coverage by next month’s meeting.

The Walker Pond outlet project is complete.  All agree that it looks great.

John Kimball:  Question remains whether someone will be controlling the water level to benefit the alewives.  Who will be responsible?

Ben will call Orland to see how they control their dam.

Next year’s budget:  $15,000 contribution for each town for next year’s budget.

John Kimball:  Talked to Todd Bewig about repairing the damaged float.   Should happen by next meeting.

Ben:  Should we meet December 10th and consider taking time off from monthly meeting?
