Minutes for March 13, 2019

Meeting opened at 9:15 a.m.   Adjourned at 10:04 a.m.  Members present:  Michael Sheahan, Ben Astbury, Bob Publicover, John Gray, Richard Bakeman, Hal Snow. 

Actions taken:

Motion to accept minutes of January meeting. All in favor. 

Motion to elect Ben Astbury as chair.  All in favor.

Motion to elect Michael Sheahan as secretary.  All in favor.

Motion to include the final section of paving in Sedgwick’s paving schedule for 2019.  All in favor.

Motion to meet on the second Thursday of the month in Sedgwick at 5:30pm.  All in favor.

Motion to approve the proposal from Friends of Walker Pond for signage, dog waste and cigarette dispensers.  All in favor.

Discussion:

Amounts approved at town meeting in both Sedgwick and Brooksville.  This year should be the last year for tarring.  Should investigate our responsibility of the maintenance of the Cooper Farm section of the access.  Perhaps this could be shared with the other users of the upper section of the road.

Invite Hans Carlson to next month’s meeting.

Moving meeting to Sedgwick for 2019 on the second Thursday of the month at 5:30pm.

Ben will call Andrew about filing a permit by rule for work associated with setting the gangway for better swimming access.
