TOWN OF SEDGWICK

SELECTMEN’S MEETING

July 27, 2023

 

Opened the meeting and established a quorum present.  Selectmen present:  Susan Ford, Colby Pert.  Also present:  CEO Duane Ford, Assistant Barbara Grindle, Donna Beninati, Leslie and Garry Schneider, Greg Phillips.

 

Read and amended the minutes of the last meeting,  Moved, seconded and voted 2-0 to accept them as amended.

 

Reviewed and signed the treasurer’s warrant for $3,039.91: administration $2,919.91; sludge $120.

 

CEO REPORT:  1) Owners of Tasha’s called about subdividing the property; they may sell one but after that must come to the Planning Board;  2)  Signed a Versant for Map 7, Lot 10-5 in Otter Cove;  3)  Checked two properties at Black’s Pond, there are concerns that have not been addressed yet on both properties.

 

DISCUSSION and/or ACTION ITEMS:  1) G. Bridges – Use of Town House – approved use of the town house if it rains for the Paul Sullivan concert for the Sedgwick Library on Aug. 24.

2) Donna B. Comp Plan – Updated the select board on the Comprehensive Plan.  Postcards have been mailed, there are extra surveys at the town office, will be put on the town facebook page.  Select board will vote on the contract with the facilitator next week after they have looked it over.  So far there have been 47 responses to the survey.
