Also present: Superintendent Mark Hurvitt, CEO Duane Ford, Assistant Barbara Grindle, Susan Ford, Donna Beninati, Mia & Al Strong, Leslie & Garry Schneider (by phone Jerry Wetterskog, Jeffrey Roth).

There being no errors or omissions in the records of the last meeting, moved, seconded and voted to accept them as written.

Reviewed and signed the treasurer’s warrant for $29,920.70: snow $11,534.73; administration $11,392.57; fire protection $911.62; fees $771.40; clearing/animal welfare $18.00; h/f $51.00; i/f $638.06; m/v $3,383.45; general assistance $1,218.88; town office $10.99.

CEO REPORT: Sent a letter to TNT Auto Recycling asking for a formal inspection, need to do annual inspections of several businesses, including the cell towers; made an appointment with the Walker Pond owners that want to put in two septic systems; question regarding special permitting for a B & B: a new house going up in North Sedgwick, new, unpermitted porch needing a building notification form; a Carter Point property has been sold, the ROW specified and a new septic system going in; needing to be careful as this is a neighbor, will recuse self if necessary.

DISCUSSION ITEMS: 1) School Budget Discussion with Superintendent – Hurvitt reviewed the school budget, it is nearly flat with a raise of only $6,157.34 overall. Answered questions from the budget comittee members present. The additional tuition for GSA is not included in the school budget, covered by the municipal budget. Also budgeted for 45 high school students; only estimating 43 this year.
2) Amusement & Liquor Licenses – Strong Brewing was in with a renewal request for their amusement permit and a liquor license. CEO will check the new septic system that Is going in this week.
3) NTIA Meeting – Governor Mills and state and federal representatives met with local broadband members. An interesting meeting but disappointing with no concrete plans. Need to monitor progress to make sure that everything continues going forward. Federal funds will subsidize those homes that qualify for free lunch.
4) Any Unfinished Business – Reminder of the meeting Wednesday at 9 a.m. Also reminder of the Public Hearing on the GSA tuition increase Thursday at 7 p.m. in the town office.
