TOWN OF SEDGWICK

SELECTMEN’S MEETING

January 5, 2012

  

Selectmen present:       Neil Davis, Colby Pert, Victor Smith

 

Also present:  Budget Committee members Steve Tobey, Paul Trowbridge, Horace Wardwell, Fire Chief David Carter, Road Commissioner Paul Carter, representative of the Ambulance service Bob Vaughn, Packet reporter Bette Britt, Tax Collector Belinda Pert, and  Assistant Barbara Grindle.

 

1)         Minutes of the last meeting read and approved.

 

2)         Signed the treasurer’s warrant for $23,729.63.

 

3)         M. E. Astbury is getting the performance bond together so that they can start the Walker Pond project as long as the weather stays good.

 

4)         The budget committee reviewed the parts of the budget done by the selectmen, the fire department, the roads and the snow contracts, as well as doing the donation requests.  They will be meeting again on Jan. 19 to review, with the selectmen, the recommendations of the school board for the school budget.

 

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:45 pm.
