SELECTMEN’S MEETING
March 5, 2020

Opened the meeting and established a quorum present. Selectmen present: Ben Astbury, Bob Publicover, Michael Sheahan. Also present: Clerk/treasurer Cindy Reilly, Assistant Barbara Grindle.

Moved, seconded and voted 3-0 to accept the minutes of the last meeting as amended.

Reviewed and signed the treasurer’s warrant for $153,932.70; School expenses $78,458.53, snow $30,320.23, transfer station $28,476.75, clearing $1749.50, animal control $645.71, fees $265.60, administration misc. $428.14, administration salaries $7,884.01, administration ballot clerks $915, administration taxes $695.55, town office $357.79, fire protection $1,324.52, general assistance $2,303.87.

DISCUSSION ITEMS: The TRIO demonstration is scheduled tentatively for March 18, at 1 p.m. Discussed closing the office during that time so that the tax collector and clerk can be present.
Worked on the town meeting warrant responses.
Town meeting foul weather contingency plans- weather should be all right.
Discussed computer speeds from Consolidated Communications in the area. The upgrade might be worth the time to look into and possibly alternatives as well.
