TOWN OF SEDGWICK

SELECTMEN’S MEETING

August 27, 2009

 

The meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm.

 

Selectmen present:  Nelson Grindal, Bill Jagger, Victor Smith

 

Also present:  Assistant Barbara Grindle, Treasurer Cindy Reilly, Road Commissioner Paul Carter

 

1)                  Approved the minutes of the last meeting.

 

2)                  Tuesday afternoon meetings  are slow and difficult for the selectmen to attend, especially in the summer.  It was voted, 3-0, to discontinue the Tuesday afternoon meetings.  Cindy will send notices where appropriate to that effect.  Meetings will be resumed if found to be necessary.

 

3)                  The road commissioner discussed roads for tarring and repairing.  He will see what needs to be done to the culvert at the village end of Old County Road, and replace it if necessary.

 

Meeting was adjourned at 8 pm.
