Selectmen’s Meeting
January 10, 2008 Thursday 6:30PM
Selectmen present: Nelson Grindal, Bill Jagger and Tom O'Connor. Other participants: Fire Chief David Carter, Selectman’s assistant Barbara Grindle and Town clerk, Cindy Reilly.
- Approved the minutes of the January 8, 2008 selectman’s meeting.
- Chief Carter discussed specifications for the new fire truck. He has held discussions with several vendors concerning the new truck. Due to the fact that we are using federal money there are several standards that must be included.
- Approved the treasurer’s warrant (#28) in the amount of $101,636.22. $62,805.85 of that amount was for school expenses.
- A special town meeting was scheduled for January 31, 2008 to take up the question of adding money to the snow removal account. The meeting will be at the Town office at 7:00PM and will request $70,000 for the remainder of the snow season.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:30PM
