Selectmen’s Meeting

March 23, 2007  Thursday 6:30PM   

Selectmen present:  Nelson Grindal (Chairman) and Tom O'Connor. Other participants:  Town Clerk, Cindy Reilly and Adm. Assistant, Barbara Grindle. 

1. Approved the minutes of the March 20, 2007 selectmen’s meeting.

 

1. Selectmen approved an application for an auto recycling business for Mr. Sheldon Kane.  The local approval is required prior to applying for a state issued permit.

 

1. Approved the treasurer’s warrant (#38) in the amount of $99,490.20.  $58,342.47 of that amount was for school expenses. $28,000 was for the Blue Hill Surry transfer station.

 

1. Selectmen approved moving forward with the handicap access for the Town House.  A grant has been obtained which will reimburse 80% of the cost.  

 The meting was adjourned at 8:30PM
